This morning the accounting person entered a couple of general journal entries and the number assigned to them, instead of the next number from the last entry of 5381, the number assigned was 23683.  The only thing that we can think of that has happened since her last entry is that the Print journal  GL-D was run.  
Fortunately she did not post these and was able to delete them.  I found the handy program SD-R "assign next document numbers" and changed the next number back to the right one, but am at a loss as to what happened here.  Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes we've had that happen too, but again not sure why.
