We are still sporadically having this issue. It came up again today with a part that has open orders, many many transactions, etc.  The accounting person noticed it when in the process of printing invoices.
 
I checked in both inventory master files, and again the part is missing in the accounting master but present in the inventory master.  But when you looked the part up in IN-A, it was not there.
 
Could it be a process in the accounting side of the equation that's causing these duplicate and missing part issues?  It seems to be most nearly (but not always) the case that the part is duplicated or missing from the BKICMSTR file instead of the MTICMSTR file.
 
We're growing w-e-a-r-y of this issue.....

I'll ask accounting about that. No idea.

Are you still on 9/16/09 as per your sIgnature or have you updated to 1/22/10?

We updated to all the latest and greatest, and we still continue to see missing parts. One went missing yesterday and we are trying to narrow that one down to a specific action in Evo that occurred just prior to it disappearing.  I did a full upgrade on 4/15/10, and then to SP3 on 4/17/10.  The missing part was added back into inventory using IN-B, and of course it resulted in a duplicate part which we had to correct (duplicate for the missing part and also a related parent part).
