IN-L-B Unable to remove location
04/26/10 at 14:57:52

Walter is trying to remove a location from our sources company and getting an error that the location is not empty, that an item still exists.

The item code for a true part in our systems company shows up in the "single product entry" section of the IN-L-B screen.  I've searched both inventory master files for this part in the sources company, and also looked at the ISBINLOC and ISBNMSTR tables and nothing is in there for this part.

Where else can I look to find this phantom? This part was created back in 2001 in systems, so it's not a new part. But perhaps someone was working in the wrong company, could not find the part, tried to set it up and then realized their mistake and canceled out and left this phantom floating out there.

Just need to know where else to look to fix this so Walter can delete the location.

Thanks,

Val

You've checked BKICLOC?

Ok, so in our test company I was able to find the phantom part in the BKICLOC table, and I removed it, then tried deleting the location and it again said there was another part listed. So in our test company I again found that new part, and there were several location records for it, including one blank and one for Cardinal.  I removed the one related to the location to be deleted,  but it still comes up when you try to delete the location.  Don't want to remove the other records as they do belong to the other locations.
So.......?
