Seperate Sale items from Purchase items

I would like to see two different sections IN-A for Sale Items and Purchase items. I don't want the Sales Department to even see the purchase items (I want to lock them out) on the same screen even during lookup. Trying to explain it to Sales has been an issue. We recently sold some raw materials and they used the purchase part number instead of Misc. Sales part number which created an issue.

Would this even be a realistic possiblity? Cool
