Substitute button
08/18/10 at 13:18:31

We use a lot of substitute items that being said, it wil be more practical if we have a button in IN-A where it will list all subs available for this item - and another button where it list this item substitute what.

now we have to go the the pick list to see the subs,
If from IN-A I could tell what I could subsitute this part for or it subsitutes which part it will really help us.

You can do it yourself from the lookup grid.  Create a grid looking at the Substitutes table (BKSBPART) in SU-A, then use SU-B and create a drill from the inventory master grid to the Substitutes grid linking on Part (to find the substitutes for this part) and another linking to the SUBST field to find what this part is a substitute for.
