Can not open WBTRVMEMO.B File
02/21/11 at 08:24:50

I am Initiating EVO, and am getting bad results related to the WBTRVMEMO.B memo file failing to open.  EVO worked OK on most workstations without this error, and now several more open with this error that worked a day ago.  Any insight on what might be going on would probably save my life.

Unfortunately, in this case, the WBTRVMEMO.B file opens with the Pervasive Finction Executor and DBA Classic works fine on the subject workstations so it is not drive mapping or other things as described in the other thread.  Only somewhat unusual environment detail is a Novell server but all users appear to have adequate permission.

Check any anti-virus and/or firewall settings to be sure nothing it being blocked.  Also, double-check the Pervasive client settings on the systems. Make sure they have rights to where the Pervasive log files are being written, and that's all I can think of now.  It's been ages since we've seen that error, so I can't quite remember how we resolved it but it was not Netware related as far as I can recall.
