Windows Server vr. Novell

Does anyone have any words of wisdom concerning Windows Server setup.  We currently are using a Novell network, and it is no longer supported.  We plan to switch over to a Windows Server soon, and I am not totally sure how to proceed.  I know I will have to use PSQL 11.0 (or so I have been told). I would appreciate hearing from anyone currently using Windows Server on a network. We have twenty five users with only fourteen on EVO.  All our workstations are Windows XP, SP3.

We run win2008 64 bits and pervasive 32 bits. Everything runs OK.

Maintain your same data structure: NEWSERVER\DATA\DBAMFG\       F:\DBAMFG
Open the proper ports on your win2008 server: 1583 and 3351
Dont waste time trying to install evo on the server.
