Hide or Protect Mapped Drive?
09/07/11 at 13:11:59

I have all my users mapped to L: for Evo. My understanding is that Everyone needs Full Control to this folder in order for Evo to work. But I don't necessarily want my users snooping around on the drive - folders can accidentally (or maliciously) be deleted. Has anyone found a way around this? Like hiding the mapped drive or somehow protecting the files/folders within?

DBA needed a mapped drive but Evo can use the UNC path.  You can get rid of the maps and point the TASPRO7.INI to the full network path.
