IN-A GRID LOOKUP FIELD EMPTY
11/29/11 at 09:32:22

We are on version 2010.2 5/17/11 SP1 EVO-ERP.  When we lookup shipments for an inventory item the Cust PO field is blank and the Customer field is Blank.  If I do the same on DBA Classic all of the PO #'s and Customer Names appear.  Before the 5/17/11 update the fields were fine, but after they are blank.  I had installed the update about a month ago.  I took a look at the grid maintenace program and both items are listed as UDF: 1, Type: A, Size 30.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
Mike

If the items are listed as UDF then that means USER DEFINED FUNCTION which means you (or somebody there) wrote the function to go from the line item file to the header file to return those fields.  The current version of the grid has standard functions for both those.  You can replace the UDF with ISFUNC.CUSTNME2() and ISFUNC.CUSTPO() in SU-A.

Thanks Lynn!  That did the trick.  One other thing I noticed: When I look up Sales Orders (SOLINES) on the IN-A screen it takes a longer time to load the grid then the shipments(INV_HIST_LINES) does.  I changed the Cust PO and Customer fields to the same as you suggested in your post, but the timing is the same( about 10-15 seconds to load).  Shipments loads in 1.5 seconds for same part number.  Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Mike

The Shipments grid is loading All invoices for the part number in question.  The Sales Order grid is filtering out zero balance lines.  Puging or archiving old closed sales orders will help (and is HIGHLY recommended)
