Hello,
Is there a way to have DBA automatically logout (log off) after a certain amount of inactivity?

Thanks

This would be an extremely useful feature. I guess the lack of response means that it does not exist yet.  Sad

Laura,
What type of behavior would you like to see?

1. After x minutes of inactivity on the PC, Close down DBA / EVO.
2. After x minutes of inactivity in DBA / EVO (no mouse clicks or keyboard in the program), Close down DBA / EVO

I would like DBA/Evo to logoff after 1 hour of idle time.  We have 9 users and only about 7 people acutally use DBA/Evo but we always forget to log off so I eventually have to go around and logout of our 10 workstations.

I see where I go to task scheduler and have the whole computer automatically shut down after a certain period of time but I only want to shutdown DBA/Evo after idle time.

Thanks

I vote for "After 45 minutes of inactivity on the PC, Close down DBA / EVO. " but do it gracefully if possible. And write that to a log that can be retrieved.

I have many users that take off for lunch with Evo open, and a few who leave for the day with Evo open (they are supposed to shut down every night). Many times they are in the middle of entering something, so not sure how that will mess things up if Evo is killed (actually I am sure, it happens).

There is nothing like this in DBA and will never be.  In Evo, if you are logged in as ADMIN you can go to Tools - Logout users and it will log out anybody that is sitting on the menu and not in another program but it is not on a timer and will not do anything to users that have a program other than the menu open.
