Out of balance - Prior Years (Read 1200 times)

Out of balance - Prior Years

While viewing account inquiry,  I noticed 2 expense accounts with beginning balances for this year.  After a little more research,  I found that the beginning balance problem goes back as many years as I can view.   I don't recall the beginning balance problem before this year.   How do I find out what caused this and how do I fix the accounts? undecided

Does your balance sheet balance but the trial balance is out by the amount of these transactions?

We have the same situation for a small amount that has been showing for a few years.  It would be nice if I could find a way to get rid of it once and for all.  I thought I had tricked the system a few of years ago, but it came back.
