Flat File character position
09/16/14 at 07:42:50

From the Flat file Layout I know at which position a field starts and also the length. Is there a software that shows the position (column) of each character when loading a flat file other than manually counting the number of characters?

Notepad ++
will tell you the column of each character on the lower right hand
Other than that, I don't know of such software
