Notes with multiple lines

When a note has more that one line all but the first line is invisible in the database manager in the isnotes file.  Is there another file I should be looking at to find the other lines?

The actual text of the note is a single string (up to 6000 characters) stored in IS.NOTE.ALPHA.  There is not a differentiation of lines.
