SO-O-A  does always sort the sales order numbers chronologically when you choose to sort by Sales Order.  
 
However.....  if you choose to sort by customer the listed sales orders  may be kinda of random.   If sorted by customer most customers Sales Orders will fall pretty close to chronologically order  but not perfect.  Our sales order numbers run with dates so both SO and dates should be chronological.

I have this same problem (but worse) with WO-L-D , print projected shipments.  I would love for this report to have the work orders print chronologically.
