Can't utilize entire data field space (Read 460 times)

cellis Full Member Posts: 190	Can't utilize entire data field space 05/20/21 at 05:49:38 Is there a setting that I can enter that will allow us to utilize all of the space in the data fields? As an example, in IN-B there is quite a bit of white space left in the description field, but I can only enter 26 characters leaving almost half of the visible field space unused. Same in the Customer address fields and many others.

IIIIIII takes much less space than WWWWW. UT-H will tell you the number of characters in the fields. Item Description (and most description and address fields) is 30.

We would have to change the data structure and update hundreds of programs and reports. Evo has virtually unlimited Notes capability you can use to enter more information related to anything.
