missing logo when printing acknowledgement (Read 990 times)

secrist Browser Posts: 9	missing logo when printing acknowledgement 05/20/03 at 12:11:16 Sometimes about 1 out of 20 the acknowledgement leaves off our logo. We can print it again and it is there. ???

I have seen this with various clients at various sites using everything from HP to Xerox to Canon and B&W to Color.

There is some occasional bug that causes this and it would be a bug in the TAS language itself. It ISN'T going to be fixed.

Re-start DBA on the machine that printed the document without the graphic or with the black box. It will be fine for a while again.

We have a Document Station ST420. I have found that the PCL driver is a piece of crap.

I have much better luck using the Postscript Driver for this Xerox printer.

Our problems were origonally associated with printing PDF files on the Xerox. Since internally PDF is heavily Postscript, there is less translation that occures for the Postscript Driver (This is the explanation that Xerox Tech support gave me, take it for what it is worth)
