If you haven't installed the IS Tech update dated Oct 17 or later, there was a bug relating to prices pulling in for components.  Otherwise, check the Option setting for Use Customer Pricing (Y means pull in Base proce, price code, etc.) and Add Price to parent (Y means roll up into toal parent item price, N means price the option separately.)
