941 report
04/13/04 at 16:04:05

hi,

my 1st quarter 941 report I use for completing the tax form didn't show anything for social security and medicare taxes paid.   I definately paid them, and the numbers exist in the "subject to" report...anyone experience this and know why?

thank you,
Terri and Fred

Our Payroll reports ran fine. I suspect that someone ran the 1st payroll in the 2nd qtr which when run will clear out the totals in the 1st qtr. This is not done automatically, but does query you on this before being done. It seems that I have to back out each time to run reports because I forget to do it also. We are on the ISTS 3/26/04 update.

Mine ran fine, but ran before that 1st p/r of next quarter.  This can be a problem when 2 different people handle payroll and taxes.  Would be nice to be able to get the quarterly reports anytime they are needed.

Actually, the 941 report uses the actual pay history records, not the QTD totals so it doesn't matter when you run it.  Not sure why Terri is having the problem that started this thread.
