Item class does not override default GL?
07/13/05 at 08:20:52

We have a problem with all of our item classes GL accounts not overriding the default GL account... We need to post to the classes inventory account that we have entered on the classes instead of the default GL account.

The Class overrides the default based on CLASS + LOCATION so if you have multiple Locations, they all need SM-C entries.

I am now having a similar problem with just certain classes and they all have SM-C entries.

All the ones with a problem all post to the same GL account, or least they should, they are all going to the Default account.

Luckily, my main 2 classes where 95% of sales come from are working correctly.

I say now, the problem has been going on for a while.  Since we do so little sales in those categories, I am just now seeing it.
