BOM AVAILABILITY VS ALLOCATIONS
why does this tool not include allowances for scrap?
 
I ordered media based on my BOM Availability and when they actual allocation was made in DBA i discovered that scrap %'s are not included in the Availability.  I will probably not run short on this order because the media i'm using is a tried and true product for us with little waste or scrap, however, had my order been for double or triple the qty i placed i would have been in serious trouble with this order.
