Emailing Invoices and PO's
08/30/11 at 07:58:57

I lost the ability to Email invoices and PO's within Evo~ERP after updating my windows server 2008 last week. I believe the windows updates are the problem because the last invoice/PO I could send out was August 23, 2011 at 11:36 and I installed the windows updates at 16:30 the same day. Since the updates I haven't been able to send out any PO's or invoices from within Evo.

Any idea which update(s) (either by KBXXXXXX number or description) I should uninstall to fix the problem? I installed the following:

KB2570791
KB2487367
KB2539636
KB2562485
KB2563227
KB2556532
KB2560656
KB2539635
KB890830
KB2562937
KB2536276
KB2563894
KB2567680
KB2559049

These consisted of:
Security updates for windows server 2008 R2 x64 bit edition,
Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 8
Updated Rollup for Active X Killbits
Windows malicious Software Removal Tool
Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1
Update for Windows Server 2008
Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4

IS Tech Support Update 1/18/11 SP1, Build 2/9/11
Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit

Thanks,

We run Evo~ERP on 8-9 client computers (xp, vista and 7) but the Evo~ERP database is installed on our windows 2008 server.

It seem that the EVO settings for email were deleted somehow. So we went back into the US settings.
Module
Settings
US
Custom Settings
Email tab

Entered the correct settings and viola! Problem fixed.

My next question is where are these US settings stored? Are they stored locally on the client or remotely on the server?

They are stored on the local machine (they can be different for each user). C:ISTS - Evo settings.INI
We occassionally have issues where the email settings dissappear so we always copy this file somewplace on the computer to copy back to the ISTS folder when there is an issue - eliminating the need to re-enter the data.

Hope this helps,
