e-mail sent log / information
12/02/13 at 09:16:49

Hello all,
When we send an e-mail either through SO-B or PO-B a copy of the attachment is saved in the C:\ists\attach folder for our reference. Does EVO also keep a copy or log of the recipients of the e-mail?
I am set up to BCC myself so I get copies of everything for record in my personal e-mail folder through Thunderbird, however we found out some of our workstations did not have that option checked and were not getting copies.
Any chance I have a way to dig up info from last month regarding an order acknowledgement to see who received it?

Thanks,
Mike

I don't think there is a log.
I don't think there is way to find out if the customer/vendor has receive the email.

I would be nice if Evo can use the user internal email program.
In that way a log exist (Sent Items)
and/or  we can request a "Delivery Receipt" or "Read Receipt" (MS Outlook)

The BCC is the way to have a copy of the email and recipient(s).  There is a default setting to require the BCC be enabled.

We have not even looked into enabling the read or receipt options because they can easily be disabled by the recipient making them essentially worthless.

Drats - I figured as much.
I think having the messages BCC'd is a perfectly fine way to do it it's just unfortunate I'm being told one of my workstations didn't have that enabled.

Thanks for the quick response Lynn Smiley
