Trying to wipe out our LOT counts (there are a lot that are neg because people aren't correctly adding lot codes at finished production).

So, I exported the LOT table to a .csv using DE-A
Changed all the On-hand counts to 0 if negative

Now I'm running T7GENIMP.RWN to import the CSV replacing records in the LOT table.

The program compleats saying 11000+ records replaced, zero skipped, but when I go to LC-A to look at the records, nothing has changed? Is there a staging area for T7GENIMP that requires a second program to copy the data to the master file?

Thanks much,
-A.

No, the Generic import does not use the temporary staging files.  Whatever file you told it to import to is where the data went.  If you want to change negative on hand in LOT to 0, you could use UT-A, NZFNR.  File LOT, Action Replace, field MTLOT.ONHAND, Replacement Value 0, Filter MTLOT.ONHAND < 0.  Then press Enter so the cursor is on the list of filters ready to select another one and press F10.  Always a good idea to make a backup copy of the file first.
