Want my folks to use EVO rather than DBA.
09/05/19 at 12:33:16

I really want my folks to use EVO, but we find it so cumbersome.   I have started to video the problems in hopes that maybe someone can help us.  I am wondering what is a good way to share these videos?    I was thinking about a facebook page.
Thanks
Laura

Laura,

We switched everything to EVO years ago however in some cases we use the DBA screen setting.  We have an older workforce that has an aversion to computers.  What do you find cumbersome, maybe I have a solution?

Thanks Lenette! We have stopped trying to use EVO except when we absolutely have to for things like entering/correcting GL accounts on POs.  Everyone of my 8 users find EVO much slower than DBA and full of errors, especially internal stack errors.   We find the most EVO problems in the Purchase Order modules

Granted it is still a few years away but you will HAVE to convert to Evo by 2030 because DBA Classic will die at that time unless some Windows update kills it sooner.  12/31/2030 seemed a long time away back in 1998 but not so much now especially for people that are still using the same basic software they were using 20 years ago.

We switched to EVO years ago, but our about screen shows expiration date of 12/31/2030.  We have not been updating for a long time (my boss is a cheapskate), so it there something we will have to do before that "drop dead" date?

Yes, you will need to get an updated license.  At least for Evo we can provide updated licenses.

Don't know yet, it is 10 years away.  I just know that we will be able to provide something for Evo-ERP but not for DBA.
