grey dropdown box too small compared to blue back

EVO: A user is complaining that the grey dropdown box in IN-A is smaller proportionally to the blue background than it was in DBA. I checked and he is correct: It is a little larger in DBA as it filled over 25% of the screen. The box is probably less than 20% of the background screen in EVO.
Is there any way to make the gray drop down box popup larger in EVO? Maybe I am missing a setting?
