Vendor Delivery Performance Report
02/25/03 at 11:53:13

Looking for feedback what would be desired in a Vendor Delivery Performance report.  I envision the following:

Selection criteria including Vendor Code, PO Number range, Actual Receipt Date Range, Item number & class, Purchase Service or both, and a filter to include only those receipts greater than "X" number of days late.

Report would include Vendor code & name and be sorted/subtotaled by Vendor.  Items listed would include PO #, Item  & Description, estimated & actual date received and days early/late.  Any other suggestions?   Does a subtotal by Vendor even make sense?

Many ISO programs also maintain vendor information for quantity over/under shipped and quality-accept/reject quantities or %.

Could you also include a filter to include the notes from the PO's?  We sometimes use this as a field to record reasons for push out/pull ins.

Thanks,

Wouldn't work for us.  We update the PO due date as we find that shipments will be delayed or early, or as we push them out or pull them in.  If we didn't update the expected date, our schedule wouldn't be any good.  There would have to be separate fields for original due date and revised due date for the performance report to work, I'd think.

In any case, we don't much need a vendor performance report, but could really use better tools for expediting, probably based on the PO due date report/select by vendor.  Add second description line, add place for vendor to put ship date, and we'd be set.
