sort receiving report by pack skip#
07/08/04 at 09:50:30

PO-I-E
Is there a way to sort by packing slip on this report? called myself searching the USER DEFINED.

Reason.   We often have 2 packing slips dated the same day,   i.e.    the vendor shipped 1 item from location and another item from another location.  or worse....the vendor shipped 2 identical items from 2 different locations.

Also it would help in other ways.

Thanks,
Laura

I have the same request and I don't notice a reply.  Will this issue ever be addressed in future versions?

Is there a report that shows the vendor packing slip or delivery ticket number?
Thanks
Laura

Laura / Suzanne,
As usual, there a a number of options to get what you want.
1. You can modify the RTM and add the PS field to the report (field name is BKAP_PO_PCKSLP).  Once added to the RTM, after "Previewing" the report, you can download to an Excel CSV file and then sort by the PS.

2. Another option is to use "System Mgr - DE-A" and create a query to include the data fields you want, including the Packing Slip # and then have the query sort (I already have such a query if you are interested).

3. Have ISTS create some sort fields for this program, but will cost you some money to do this.
