I am trying to locate the data base file location for the reference numbers that appear on the Accounts Payable check stub, and also in the Cash Receipts Journal.  I have looked at both BKAPINVT AND BKARHINVT with no success.
 
Every now and then, a payables invoice reference number is entered incorrectly, and it would be handy to make a quick correction in the data base instead of reversing/voiding the voucher in AP-C.
 
Likewise, in AR-C the payment reference numbers made a correction as well.
 
Any help would be greatly appreciated in finding the exact data base files for both!

However...  In the case of vendor invoice numbers and customer check numbers, they are not stored in those files.  A reference number is stored in those files which points to a cross-reference table - MKECLASS in the case of AR Customer Checks and MKICLASS for AP Invocies.
